Veterinary dermatoscopy allows a non-invasive diagnostic
examination of the skin, fur and nails. It assists with the recognition of
morphological structures not clearly visible by the naked eye. Using an
immersion technique you will have improved visualization of pigmented
structures within the epidermis, the dermoepidermal junction and the
superficial dermis. The size and shape of vessels of the superficial vascular
plexus can be easily appreciated by this procedure.
