VetSet - ChlorVet Scrub 4% Chlorhexidine

VetSet ChlorVet Scrub contains 4% chlorhexidine gluconate and is suitable for use as a hand wash, surgical scrub, or hand disinfectant both pre- and post-operatively.

Widely used in veterinary medicine, it helps prevent infections by effectively killing germs on the skin.

Directions for Use

Pre-operative cleaning of personnel and operating theatre:

1. Wet hands and forearms with water.
2. Pour approximately 5ml onto hands and distribute over hands and forearms.
3. Without adding water, scrub the entire area for 1 minute using a scrub brush, ensuring nails are thoroughly cleaned.
4. Add a little water to develop a rich foam, then rinse thoroughly.
5. Apply a further 5ml and continue washing for 2 minutes.
6. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Pre-operative use on patient:

1. Shave the area to be treated.
2. Wet the area with water.
3. Apply ChlorVet Scrub diluted at 1 part ChlorVet to 4 parts warm water.
4. Massage the area for a minimum of 5 minutes.
5. Remove the product using sterilised gauze (use water if necessary).
