Designed for busy veterinary practices, the AutoCAT+ combines oscillometric blood pressure, SpO₂, ECG, temperature, respiration rate and pulse rate in one lightweight, handheld monitor. It helps your team access key patient data quickly and easily, supporting routine appointments, pre-surgical checks, post-surgical monitoring and recovery care.

Its portable design makes it easy to move between consult rooms, theatres and kennels, helping your team monitor patients wherever they are with less disruption to the patient and workflow.

For feline patients, the AutoCAT+ can support a more practical approach to blood pressure monitoring, including taking readings from the tail without the need to clip hair. This can help reduce unnecessary handling and stress, making the process simpler for both the patient and the veterinary team.

Bluetooth connectivity allows the monitor to connect easily to Apple or Android devices via the Berry Pet Health app. This supports remote monitoring, patient record storage and central monitoring, while also allowing ECG readings to be viewed clearly from a connected device.

Clinical Evaluation:

The CAT+ Doppler and AutoCAT+ have been evaluated in a published peer-reviewed study assessing non-invasive systolic blood pressure measurement in cats.

The study compared Doppler and oscillometric methods across 131 paired readings in conscious and anaesthetised cats and found no significant difference in mean systolic blood pressure values between the two approaches.

The authors concluded that the AutoCAT+ met some of the guidelines for assessing such instruments for veterinary use in cats with a normal range of blood pressure. Further work is recommended to evaluate performance across a wider blood pressure range.
