Our Sustainability Commitment

Our company activities interact with the environment in a variety of ways. To ensure we identify and assess each interaction, we’ve adopted a lifecycle perspective, helping us understand both the direct and indirect environmental impacts of our operations.
We focus our efforts on three key areas:

To support these goals, we have implemented an Environmental Management System certified to ISO 14001, ensuring our approach meets the highest recognised environmental standards.

We also maintain ISO 9001 certification, reinforcing our commitment to quality, consistency, and continual improvement.

Sustainable Products

We’re continuously developing innovative, environmentally responsible products to help our customers reduce their own environmental impact. Below is a snapshot of some of the products in our eco-range:

  • Reusable Gowns and Drapes 
    Our reusable, autoclave-compatible gowns and drapes eliminate the need for single-use disposable alternatives, significantly reducing clinical waste in veterinary practices.
  • Sugarcane-Based Branded Carrier Bags     
    Made from renewable sugarcane, these bags are carbon-neutral and fully recyclable — a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic carriers.
  • Biodegradable & Home Compostable Prescription Bags
    Our branded prescription bags are 100% biodegradable and home compostable, breaking down safely without leaving microplastics or harmful residues.
  • Compostable and Biodegradable Tablet Cartons
    We supply tablet cartons made from compostable, biodegradable materials — a sustainable choice that helps reduce waste in everyday operations.
  • Eco-Friendly Collars & Packaging
    Our collars are made from recyclable materials, and their packaging is fully biodegradable, reducing plastic waste throughout the product lifecycle.

Sustainable Packaging

  • Over 95% of our packaging materials are recyclable or reusable.
  • Our boxes are made with 75% recycled content.
  • We continue to explore new materials and methods to reduce waste and improve circularity.
  • We use paper tape for all packages, replacing traditional plastic adhesive tape with a recyclable and biodegradable alternative.
  • This simple switch further reduces single-use plastic in our packaging process and ensures that every element of our parcels aligns with our commitment to circular, sustainable materials.

Across our site and our logistics, we’re investing in technologies and processes that reduce emissions and conserve resources.

  • Energy Efficiency
    + Our premises are fitted with energy-saving light bulbs and sensor lighting to minimise energy consumption.
    + Over 80% of our waste is recycled across all sites.
  • Low-Emission Logistics
    + Our distribution team uses electric-powered machinery to reduce carbon output.
    + Couriers carefully plan delivery routes for maximum efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions.
    + We encourage bulk purchasing to minimise the footprint of individual shipments through consolidated transport    .
  • Paper Reduction
    + We encourage electronic invoicing and communication with customers and suppliers.
    + 100% of our customers currently receive invoices by email.
  • Waste Management
    + More than 97% of our waste is now recycled.
    + We continually review our processes to reduce landfill use and promote a circular economy approach.
  • Transport & Commuting
    + Our staff actively car-share where possible, reducing individual vehicle emissions and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.
    + All company-owned vehicles are fully electric, helping to reduce our carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels.

Responsible Supply Chain

We believe sustainability extends beyond our walls.

We work collaboratively with our suppliers and partners to ensure that sustainability is embedded throughout our supply chain.

  • We regularly review our suppliers to ensure products are sourced ethically and responsibly.
  • As part of our verification process, each supplier’s sustainability plan is reviewed to ensure alignment with our standards.
  • We engage our logistics partners to continuously optimise routes and reduce emissions from transportation.
    This collaborative approach ensures that the sustainability commitments we make are supported at every stage — from raw materials to final delivery.
