BD SmartSite™ needle-free valve

A widely used technology offering a leak-free system for chemotherapy when used in combination with Texium™ devices. The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector offers a vial to vein solution, from drug preparation to administration, whilst also enabling connector standardisation with BD® infusion pumps.

Product Features:

• Flat, smooth surface: The surface design makes it easy to clean and disinfect the access point. Compatibility with the BD Alaris™.
• Pump and gravity administration sets: The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector has the same proximal and distal connectors as the BD Alaris™ Pump module and gravity administration set Y-ports, enabling standardisation.
• Straight fluid pathway: The straight fluid pathway provides laminar flow and easy flushing.
• Closed system delivery: The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector pairs with the Texium™ closed male luer to form a leak-free closed system drug transfer device (CSTD) to deliver hazardous drugs.
