Surgicryl 910 Polyglactine is a synthetic, absorbable suture which breaks down by hydrolysis, resulting in full absorption between 56 and 70 days.

• Alternative to Vicryl.
• Braided and coated mulifilament.
• Synthetic absorbable suture.
• Composition: Polygalactine 910, a copolymer made of 90% glycolide & 10% L-lactide.
• Violet.
• The hydrolytic action by which the material is broken down, results in total absorption between 56 and 70 days.
• Between 40 and 50% of tensile strength remains after 21 days.
• Ideal for use on muscles, connective tissue and skin.
