An activated charcoal dressing which is non-absorbent. Malodour occurs as a result of bacterial metabolism and the production of volatile fatty acids. Activated charcoal dressings such as this one adsorb these toxins thus removing the malodour from the wound. A sterile activated charcoal cloth dressing Can be used to control odour on both moderately and lightly exuding wounds (if lightly exuding, use with addition of a separate primary dressing to prevent adherence) Not indicated as a primary dressing for dry wounds The polyamide coating stops the dressing from adhering to the wound surface and fibres from coming away from the dressing It can be used either side down Soft and flexible and can be cut to conform to curved body sites Can be reused for up to a week Cut to size without loss of performance Dimensions: 10x20cm Pack of 10
