Description

A simple and reliable tool for determining Packed Cell Volume (PCV). This PCV Hematocrit Reader features an easy-to-read plastic chart and is designed for use with standard microhematocrit tubes in veterinary practice.


– Plastic card with PCV chart graduation

– Holds either 75mm or shorter 40mm Microhematocrit tubes

How It Works:
  1. Place the microhematocrit tube into the card’s tube slot.
  2. Adjust the holder so the bottom of the red cell layer aligns with 0%.
  3. Slide the top of the plasma column to align with 100%.
  4. Read the PCV percentage directly from the scale.
