PDS Plus Sutures are absorbable, monofilament synthetic sutures designed to provide extended wound support while helping to reduce the risk of surgical site infection. The suture is coated with an antibacterial agent to inhibit bacterial colonisation along the suture line during the early healing period.
The monofilament construction allows for smooth passage through tissue, low tissue drag, and secure knot performance, making PDS Plus suitable for procedures where longer-term absorbable tensile strength is required.
